But how do you train that part of your brain then? What techniques will help you reach that part? It’s not that difficult. The more times you tell yourself that something is true, the more it starts to believe it.   1. Use positive affirmations. Write down 5 things that you want to have. Or what you want to become. Use words like ‘I am… I have…’. Read out loud those affirmations minimum 2 times per day. When you wake up and when you go to sleep.
  2. Be grateful for what you already have and achieved. In the morning and evening say 5 things to yourself what your are grateful for. It will set you mind in a positive flow.
  3. Use a vision board. Look for pictures of the things that you want in life. Put them on a board and hang it on a place where you will see it when you wake up. Visualize that you already have these things.

When you do these techniques just before you go to sleep, it will feed your subconscious mind during the night. You will wake up in the morning with great ideas to get you where you want to be.

I practice a hodge-podge version of meditation, a little from this Teacher, a little from that Teacher; but I have been using your 3 techniques with great success. Positive statements and what I have to be grateful far, those I have written down and sometimes revise them. One item on my vision board has been there for so long that I no longer need the picture, it is burned into my soul. I will get that truck, someday.

  2. Hi Dennis. Thanks for sharing the techniques for tapping into the subconscious mind. I truly believe that we can change our lives by applying these kinds of methods. I have been practicing the art of being thankful for a while and I notice that I’m more peaceful and that I don’t react as strongly in difficult situations. I also often feel happy for seemingly no reasons!
